Wars Across The World

WAW is a unique strategy turn-based game that brings the spirit of board games to life. It aims to simulate all conflicts, from Prehistoric times to the present day, in a single system. This includes grand massive wars and asymmetrical conflicts.

The main game features include:

• Turn-based gameplay using the I GO U GO system, with each player taking one side (which can involve multiple nations).
• A map divided into numerous regions, each with different terrains and structures such as ports, fortresses, and airports. Some regions may also act as potential sources of income.
• An income system that is activated for maintenance and purchasing forces or acquiring new event cards.
• A variety of combat units from land, naval, and air domains. These include infantry, cavalry, artillery, guerrillas, submarines, flat tops, fighters, elephants, and anti-aircraft batteries. Units can be combined into different stacks for easy handling.
• Leaders play a crucial role in the game. They provide combat bonuses to their stacks' base values, their morale values determine victory or defeat levels, and they are necessary to launch attacks on the enemy.
• When two opposing stacks are in the same region, a battle occurs. Battles are resolved semi-tactically over two rounds. The game automatically calculates bonuses and penalties for each side, their respective morale levels, allows for event card play, and simulates simultaneous shooting by each combat unit. Losses are measured in hits and panics. The initial army's morale level is affected by losses and panics, which may lead to routs, pursuits, and breakthroughs.
• Each side is granted multiple packs of event cards that influence various aspects of the game such as alliances, income, movement, weather, leadership, number and quality of troops, and tactical aspects of battles. This introduces uncertainty and ensures great replayability.

The application includes the Normandy 1944 scenario. Additional scenarios can be purchased as in-app content, including Hamilkar 264 (First Punic War), Hastings 1066 (Conquest of England), Saratoga 1777 (American War of Independence), Waterloo 1815 (Napoleonic wars), Bull Run 1861 and Missouri 1861 (Civil War), Tannenberg 1914 (World War I), Malaya 1941 (WW2 Malaysian campaign), Bulge 1944 (WW2 Battle of the Bulge), Berlin 1945 (End of World War II), and Six Days 1967 (Six Day War).
